Complete Basement Systems Joins Carson’s Team.

Carson was diagnosed in October of 2010 with medulloblastoma, a form of pediatric brain cancer. Carson underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatments for his cancer at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and he will continue to receive chemotherapy for the next year. Your donations will help to offset medical and other expenses related to Carson’s care.

A Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction will be held at Buster’s Sports Bar in Mankato, MN.

Complete Basement Systems will be donating a Zoeller Sump Pump and check valve for the silent auction.

3 Reasons Why Basements Leak

1. Improper drain tile systems- Many exterior drain tile systems eventually clog overtime as water washes sediment and silt into the tile. By placing an interior drain tile system by the footing prevents the tile from clogging up and keeps your wet basement dry!

2. Hydrostatic Pressure- When the soil surrounding your foundation becomes saturated with water, the hydrostatic pressure pushes water up through your foundation through floor cracks or at the floor and wall joint.

3. Landscaping- As the soil around your foundation settles, it creates a slope towards your house that allows water to flow down along the foundation. It is important to make sure that the soil around the foundation is elevated high enough to slope the water away from the house.
